Join Accuma and help us develop our CNC machining operations. We are currently recruiting for two separate positions at our facility in Jasionka near Rzeszów. CNC programs are prepared by a programmer; operators are expected to set up the machine independently, start the process and verify part quality.
CNC milling machine operator – 5-axis Hedelius / 4-axis Haas
Location: Jasionka near Rzeszów, Poland
Employment: employment contract
Salary: PLN 8,000–10,000 gross per month
Working pattern: initially one shift; two shifts may be introduced in the future, with no night work
The role involves a five-axis Hedelius ACURA 65 machining centre with Heidenhain control and a Haas VF-5SS fitted with a fourth axis. Programs are prepared by a CNC programmer in SolidCAM.
Responsibilities
- operating and setting the Hedelius ACURA 65 five-axis machining centre and Haas VF-5SS four-axis machining centre,
- preparing machines for new production orders,
- selecting and preparing cutting tools and toolholders,
- clamping, locating and setting workpieces,
- loading and verifying programs prepared by the CNC programmer,
- safely producing the first-off part,
- applying tool, dimensional and machining-parameter offsets,
- inspecting manufactured parts using measuring instruments,
- working with the CNC programmer during new-part introduction,
- optimising setup, tooling and cutting parameters within the operator’s scope,
- maintaining the machine, tools and workplace in proper condition.
Requirements
- at least five years of experience operating and setting CNC milling machines,
- experience with multi-axis machining centres,
- ability to perform changeovers, set datums and start production independently,
- ability to adjust programs, tools and offsets,
- very good understanding of technical drawings,
- ability to use standard measuring instruments,
- knowledge of machining aluminium, steel and stainless steel,
- a responsible and accurate approach, with attention to process safety.
Desirable experience
- five-axis machining experience,
- familiarity with Heidenhain controls,
- experience with Hedelius or Haas machines,
- experience in one-off and small-batch production,
- experience machining parts for aerospace, automotive, tooling or mould applications,
- basic familiarity with SolidCAM.

CNC lathe operator – Haas TL-2
Location: Jasionka near Rzeszów, Poland

Salary: PLN 7,500–9,500 gross per month
Working pattern: initially one shift; two shifts may be introduced in the future, with no night work
We primarily manufacture one-off and small-batch parts for aerospace, automotive and tooling customers, as well as machinery and equipment manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- operating and setting a Haas TL-2 CNC lathe,
- preparing the machine for new parts,
- selecting and preparing turning tools, holders and inserts,
- clamping and locating workpieces,
- loading and verifying programs prepared by the CNC programmer,
- safely producing the first-off part,
- applying tool, dimensional and machining-parameter offsets,
- selecting parameters according to the material, tooling and required surface quality,
- carrying out dimensional inspection of manufactured parts,
- diagnosing issues involving vibration, chip control, tool wear and surface finish,
- working with the CNC programmer during new-part introduction,
- maintaining the machine, tools and workplace in proper condition.
Requirements
- at least five years of experience operating and setting CNC lathes,
- ability to prepare the machine and introduce new parts independently,
- ability to select tools, inserts and cutting parameters,
- ability to apply tool and dimensional offsets,
- very good understanding of technical drawings,
- ability to use measuring instruments, particularly micrometers, bore gauges, callipers and dial indicators,
- knowledge of fits, threads, grooves and specified surface finishes,
- experience machining aluminium, steel, stainless steel and other engineering materials,
- accuracy, responsibility and good work organisation.
Desirable experience
- experience with Haas lathes,
- familiarity with Haas controls,
- experience programming directly at the machine control,
- experience in one-off and small-batch production,
- experience producing precision parts for aerospace, automotive or tooling applications,
- ability to solve machining-process issues independently.
